Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Film ScreeningMay 1, 2025 鈥   May 5 is the National Day of Remembrance for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW), and on that day, 华体会 will welcome Jordan Dresser, a film producer, director, and advocate for MMIW, who will present a screening of his film, 鈥淲ho She Is鈥 at 7 p.m. in Del Norte Hall 1500.  

鈥淲ho She Is鈥 addresses critical issues affecting Native American communities and sheds a light on those who have gone missing or been murdered without justice.

Following the screening, Chumash Tribal member Marianne Parra will lead a Question and Answer session with Dresser as they discuss the film鈥檚 themes and the broader MMIW movement.
